It's been a while since I posted.  Life's been catching up with me lately, but I'm determined to wrestle it to the ground.  That was the requisite "it's been so long" comment.  Moving on.

I've had a lot of really banner things happen lately.  For one, I've been converted to a full-time employee of Mary Kay.  I'm loving working there so I was happy they wanted to keep me on permanently.  I seriously can't wait to get to work in the mornings.  I'm sure it will wear off, but for now it's great.  In Mary Kay, I have all of the things on my list.  I'm extremely happy.  I'm proud of the software I've written there and I look forward to more.

Secondly, I found out that I'm going to be responsible for new life.  Two new lives, in fact.

This is an early picture from 3/30 of our new twins!  We aren't sure of the sex yet.  They are due November 1st.  I am very excited and more than just a little bit nervous, but I'm sure that passes.

Exciting times and new challenges lay ahead.

We are actually hoping *for* teletubbie kids.  If we get two, they'll never have to watch tv to be entertained.

The nervousness never passes...  The ride home from the hospital with those two tiny people will be the most terrifying ride of your life.  But you will be so overwhelmed with joy that you find the strength to get through it.  Your life will never be the same, and you will never want to go back.

Congratulations!
